Excellent Textbook

This thoroughly explains just about all of the concepts within the book, while remaining relatively concise and clearly written. There are a few particularly complex reaction mechanisms that aren't shown, but that is about my only complaint with the textbook. The solution manual is also quite thorough, but falls apart a bit on the aromatic ring chapters, mostly due to typographical errors. The worst of these was referring to "Hot concentrate" instead of "Hot concentrated acid". Still, with the book as solid as it is and the solution manual generally being strong, this warrants five stars.

Detailed, great example problems, great for all levels

I love this textbook. The author details everything and provides many examples for all concepts. The problems at the end of each chapter are also super helpful, also good because it comes with an answer manual that explains in depth the solutions for these problems. Great book for beginner and upper level orgo students.
